Permutation from SubexcedantSeq

The permutation a subexcedant sequence is the inversion sequence of.

SubexcedantSeq → Permutationinverse

Declines a word that isn't subexcedant: entry i must lie in 0..i − 1.

Called as CombinatorialMap(x, "Permutation"). The head's page has its examples.

Properties

Transport a statistic

Pick a statistic on Permutation. Its distribution over the images of SubexcedantSeq at each size is computed, and compared with the 0 statistics on SubexcedantSeq: those that share it are the ones the map sends it to, as far as the sizes computed show.
